I'd like to discuss the dismissal of 'lesser' problems...
I'd like to discuss the dismissal of 'lesser' problems, because in my eyes, whatever the problem may be (even if it is really simple, and easy to get around), if it makes you upset or feel bad in anyway, you should be able to talk to someone about it without that person dismissing it as a 'first world problem'. I find this a massive problem with teenagers and their parents; they both just want respect and sympathy from the other person, but all they're left with is the feeling that their problems are ignored.
This is just one of my pet peeves, as well as lack of empathy or remorse.
